John Keells Holdings PLC seeks a Junior Legal Executive for its Property Group legal team at Keells House, Colombo 2. JKH's property development arm (Cinnamon Life, Waterfront, and other mixed-use developments) is the largest private-sector real estate developer in Sri Lanka, and the legal team handles all aspects of property transactions.

The Junior Legal Executive will assist with title verification, draft sale and lease agreements, coordinate with the Land Registry, and support the acquisition process for new development projects. This is an excellent starting position for a recently admitted Attorney-at-Law interested in property development law within Sri Lanka's largest conglomerate.

• Conduct title searches and title verifications at the Land Registry for property acquisitions
• Draft sale agreements, lease documentation, and condominium-related contracts
• Assist with regulatory approvals for property development projects
• Coordinate with the Registrar of Lands, UDA, and local government authorities
• Support due diligence for new land acquisitions and development site assessments
• Maintain the property group's contract and title documentation system

• Attorney-at-Law admitted by BASL with 0–2 years' post-admission experience
• Basic knowledge of Sri Lankan property law, including the Registration of Title Act and Notaries Ordinance
• Understanding of the Apartment Ownership Law and condominium regulations
• Familiarity with land registry procedures and title search methodologies
• LL.B. from a recognised institution; notarial qualification an advantage
• Sinhala proficiency required for land documentation
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
