Junior Real Estate Lawyer — Al-Haqiqa Law Firm, Baghdad
Al-Haqiqa Law Firm is hiring a Junior Real Estate Lawyer to assist with property transactions, title verification, and land registration matters across Baghdad. This role is ideal for recently admitted lawyers seeking to build expertise in Iraqi property law and the Tabu (land registry) system.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct property title searches and verification at the Baghdad Real Property Registration Directorate (Tabu)
- Draft sale and purchase agreements, lease contracts, and property transfer documents
- Assist with property disputes and boundary determination cases
- Handle construction contract disputes and building permit compliance
- Advise on agricultural land transactions and state land leasing
- Support senior lawyers on large real estate development projects
- Maintain client files and manage property transaction timelines

Requirements
- LLB from an accredited Iraqi university
- Admitted to the Iraqi Bar Association (recent admission accepted)
- 0-2 years of legal experience; interest in real estate and property law
- Understanding of Iraqi Real Property Registration Law and Tabu procedures
- Good Arabic drafting skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- English language ability is a plus but not required
