The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) seeks a Junior Securities Regulation Officer for its Enforcement and Investigation Division at its Thapathali, Kathmandu headquarters. SEBON is at the forefront of capital markets regulation, overseeing the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) during a period of record IPO activity and retail investor participation.

The Junior Officer will assist with investigations into market misconduct, review IPO prospectuses, analyse trading data from NEPSE, and prepare enforcement briefs. • Support enforcement proceedings before the courts in coordination with the Attorney General's Office
  • Monitor listed company compliance with disclosure and corporate governance requirements

Requirements

  • Advocate licensed by the Nepal Bar Association (NBA) with 0–2 years' post-admission experience
  • Knowledge of the Securities Act 2063, Companies Act 2063 (2006), and capital markets principles
  • Understanding of stock exchange operations and market conduct rules
