Maralex Legal is hiring a Juriste en Droit du Travail for its Toamasina office. As the eastern coast's major employer base grows with mining, logistics, and export industries, demand for employment law expertise is increasing. This role involves advising employers and employees on all aspects of Madagascar's Code du Travail, collective bargaining agreements, workplace safety regulations, and social security obligations under the CNaPS (Caisse Nationale de Prévoyance Sociale).

You will handle employment contract drafting, workforce restructuring, disciplinary procedures, and disputes before the Tribunal du Travail de Toamasina. The role is particularly focused on the employment law needs of mining subcontractors, port logistics companies, and agribusiness enterprises operating in the Atsinanana region.

• Draft and review employment contracts, collective agreements, and HR policies
• Advise employers on disciplinary procedures, terminations, and redundancy processes
• Represent clients before the Tribunal du Travail de Toamasina
• Ensure client compliance with CNaPS, OSTIE, and workplace safety regulations
• Advise on workforce restructuring and reorganization matters
• Handle trade union negotiations and collective bargaining processes
• Provide training to HR teams on employment law compliance

• Master's degree in employment law or social law
• 3-5 years of experience in employment and labor law in Madagascar
• Strong knowledge of Madagascar's Code du Travail and related regulations
• Experience with CNaPS social security administration and OSTIE health insurance
• Familiarity with collective bargaining processes and trade union relations
• Fluency in French and Malagasy; English is an advantage
• Experience in the mining or logistics sector preferred
