OCP Group, the world's largest phosphate producer headquartered in Casablanca's Hay Hassani district, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Legal Department with a focus on mining law, environmental compliance, and sustainability. This role supports OCP's operations across Khouribga, Jorf Lasfar, Safi, and Benguerir — the heart of Morocco's phosphate industry.

• Advise on mining concession renewals, regulatory compliance, and government relations with the Ministère de l'Énergie, des Mines et de l'Environnement
• Manage environmental compliance across OCP's production sites including environmental impact assessments (EIAs)
• Draft and negotiate mining joint venture agreements, off-take contracts, and technology licensing agreements
• Support OCP's green hydrogen and renewable energy projects from a regulatory and contractual perspective
• Handle environmental litigation and administrative disputes before Moroccan courts
• Coordinate with external counsel on international arbitration matters (ICC, ICSID)
• Advise on land acquisition and expropriation proceedings under Moroccan law

• Master's degree in Environmental Law, Mining Law, or Business Law
• Minimum 7 years' experience in mining law, environmental compliance, or natural resources law
• Knowledge of the Code Minier marocain, Loi n°11-03 (environmental protection), and Loi n°12-03 (environmental impact assessments)
• Experience with mining concession agreements and government permits
• Familiarity with international environmental standards (IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles)
• French fluency required; English essential for international contracts; Arabic preferred
