The Difference You Will Make:
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated attorney to join us as Lead Counsel, Corporate. You'll be responsible for advising various Airbnb stakeholders regarding corporate legal matters. The primary focus will be on securities law disclosure review and advice (e.g., press and earnings releases, investor relations presentations, website disclosures, Regulation G, Regulation FD matters). You're business savvy, with a firm grasp of both legal and financial concepts, can take an active role with or support various other corporate legal matters, such as SEC filings, corporate governance and treasury support and partner closely with our founder, senior leadership and board members on board matters and committee meeting materials.
Your Expertise:
- J.D. with strong academic credentials and demonstrated record of success as a senior in-house lawyer or law firm partner.
- Member of California Bar or eligible to register as Registered In-House Counsel
- Minimum 12 years of significant knowledge and experience with in corporate matters at a law firm, in-house experience at a high growth company preferred
- Significant experience working with Securities Act and Exchange Act
- Experience supporting board committee processes, including preparation of meeting materials, minutes, and resolutions
- Experience supporting M&A and corporate transactions; comfort operating in a high-growth, deal-active environment a plus
- Experience working with international teams and cross border experience a plus
- Has experience with legal issues faced by technology companies
- Ability to establish rapport and collaborate effectively all levels of an organization
- Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to distill complex or ambiguous issues into concise and actionable advice
- Highly organized, with the ability to adapt, prioritize and successfully manage multiple tasks or projects in response to changing or competing priorities
- Able to apply effective written and verbal communications skills to interactions with all levels of leadership
- Willingness to roll up sleeves (no job too big, no job too small)

Your Location:
This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. How We'll Take Care of You:
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
