Job Description
This is a class series. Incumbents within the series are considered for promotion to a higher class based upon development of the more advanced requisite knowledge, skills and abilities and successful completion of progressively more difficult and complex duties and assignments.

Legal Clerk I:聽This is the entry level in the series. Incumbents work under close supervision and perform routine clerical duties of a legal nature.

Legal Clerk II:聽This is the journey level in the series. Incumbents work under supervision and apply specialized legal knowledge and skills in support of State and Federal regulations, mandates, and County and department policies and procedures. The incumbent can execute all but the most complex tasks with minimal training or oversight. May assist in the training of other staff and lead projects as assigned.
