Job Description
Slovenská sporiteľňa is seeking a Legal Counsel for Branch Operations at its regional centre in Banská Bystrica, the historic capital of central Slovakia. You will provide legal support for the bank's central Slovak branch network, handling consumer disputes, real estate security interests, and regulatory compliance.
Banská Bystrica serves as Slovenská sporiteľňa's central Slovakia hub, supporting branches across the Banská Bystrica, Zvolen, and Lučenec areas. Responsibilities
Provide legal support for Slovenská sporiteľňa's central Slovak branch network. Handle consumer banking disputes before Banská Bystrica courts. Draft and review loan and mortgage documentation for the region. Manage debt recovery proceedings and enforcement of security interests. Advise on consumer protection compliance and NBS regulatory requirements. Coordinate with the central legal department in Bratislava on complex matters.
Requirements
Slovak law degree (Mgr.) with 2-4 years of banking, consumer, or civil law experience. Knowledge of Slovak consumer credit legislation and debt recovery procedures. Experience with court proceedings in central Slovakia preferred. Fluent Slovak and English.
