Job Description

The Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) is seeking a Legal Expert for its Banking Supervision Department. The role involves drafting regulatory acts, providing legal opinions on supervisory matters, and ensuring the consistent application of Bulgarian and EU banking legislation. Responsibilities

Requirements

Master's degree in Law; Minimum 7 years of experience in banking regulation, financial law, or public administration; Deep knowledge of the Law on the BNB, Credit Institutions Act, and Bank Bankruptcy Act; Thorough understanding of EU banking regulation (SSM, CRD/CRR, BRRD); Experience drafting regulatory acts and legal opinions; Fluent English required; Bulgarian citizenship; Clean criminal record and security clearance eligibility.
