Job Description
Legal Officer — Commercial Contracts at MTN Uganda
MTN Uganda is looking for a Legal Officer to manage commercial contracts across its business operations. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements for Uganda's largest telecommunications company.

Responsibilities
- Draft and review commercial contracts including vendor agreements, partnership agreements, and service level agreements
- Negotiate contract terms with suppliers and commercial partners
- Manage the contract lifecycle from drafting to execution and renewal
- Advise business teams on contractual risks and obligations
- Maintain a contract management database
- Support procurement processes with legal review and advice
Requirements
- LLB degree from a recognized university
- Diploma in Legal Practice from LDC
- Enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in commercial or corporate law
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Understanding of telecommunications industry is an advantage
