Job Description
Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) is seeking a Legal Officer for its Insurance Supervision division at the Wisma Mulia building, South Jakarta. You will help regulate Indonesia's growing insurance sector, reviewing product compliance, handling enforcement actions, and drafting POJK regulations for conventional and sharia insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Review insurance product filings and marketing materials for regulatory compliance
- Draft and review POJK regulations on insurance solvency, reserves, and governance
- Handle enforcement actions against non-compliant insurers and insurance intermediaries
- Advise on takaful (sharia insurance) regulatory framework development
- Coordinate with IAIS (International Association of Insurance Supervisors) on standards
Requirements
- LLB from an accredited Indonesian university
- 3-5 years experience in insurance regulation, insurance law, or financial supervision
- Knowledge of UU Perasuransian and POJK insurance regulations
- Understanding of both conventional and sharia insurance frameworks
- Proficiency in English for IAIS coordination
