Job Description

FORT Legal Latvia is hiring a Maritime & Logistics Lawyer based in Liepāja to advise on shipping contracts, port operations, and logistics agreements. Liepāja's growing port infrastructure makes this a strategic role for the firm's transport practice.

Responsibilities

Advise on charterparty agreements, bills of lading, and cargo claims. Handle ship arrest proceedings and maritime lien disputes. Draft logistics and freight forwarding agreements. Provide legal support on port concession agreements and terminal operations.

Requirements

Master's degree in law. 2-5 years of experience in maritime, transport, or logistics law. Knowledge of international maritime conventions and Latvian Maritime Code. Understanding of EU customs and trade regulations. Fluent in Latvian and English.
