Paralegal — Employment & Labour

Empresas Polar seeks a Paralegal for its Employment & Labour legal team in Valencia. Based at Polar's Carabobo operations, you will support the employment law team with labour compliance, employee documentation, and administrative proceedings before the Inspectoría del Trabajo.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare employment contracts, amendment letters, and termination documentation under the LOTTT
• Maintain employee legal files and track statutory deadlines for labour proceedings
• Assist with preparation of documents for Inspectoría del Trabajo proceedings in Carabobo State
• Calculate severance payments (prestaciones sociales) and employment benefits
• Support legal counsel with collective bargaining documentation and union correspondence

• Process labour documentation and maintain filing systems
• Coordinate with HR on employee legal matters
• Track deadlines for labour court hearings and administrative proceedings
• Prepare statistical reports on employment litigation for management

• Paralegal diploma or law degree (Abogado) from a Venezuelan university
• 1-3 years experience in employment law support or human resources legal compliance
• Knowledge of the LOTTT and Venezuelan social security contributions (IVSS, INCES, FAOV, BANAVIH)
• Proficient in Spanish; English a plus
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in legal document management
