Job Description

NJORD Estonia is hiring a Paralegal to support our IP & Brand Protection practice in Tallinn. You will assist lawyers with trademark portfolio management, patent filings, and IP enforcement matters for Estonian and international clients.

The role involves working with the Estonian Patent Office (Patendiamet) and the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). You will manage trademark renewals, opposition proceedings, and domain name disputes in Estonia's digital-first business environment.

Responsibilities

Manage trademark portfolios including filings, renewals, and transfers at the Patendiamet and EUIPO. Prepare opposition and cancellation filings for trademark disputes. Conduct trademark availability searches in Estonian and EU databases. Assist with domain name dispute proceedings under the .ee domain registry. Coordinate with international IP agents on multi-jurisdictional filings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in law or legal studies. 0-2 years of experience in IP administration or legal support. Familiarity with trademark registration procedures and the Estonian Patent Office (Patendiamet). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Fluent in Estonian and English.
