Job Description

Icaza González-Ruiz & Alemán is looking for a Private Client Attorney to advise high-net-worth individuals on Panamanian private foundations (Fundaciones de Interés Privado), trusts, and estate planning. Panama's private foundation regime is one of the most flexible in the world, attracting international wealth structuring mandates.

Responsibilities

Establish and administer Panamanian private foundations for international clients. Draft foundation charters, regulations, and letters of wishes. Advise on succession planning and intergenerational wealth transfer. Coordinate with trust companies and registered agents. Ensure compliance with beneficial ownership reporting requirements.

Requirements

Licenciatura en Derecho. Colegio Nacional de Abogados membership. 4-6 years of experience in private client, trusts, or wealth planning. Knowledge of Ley de Fundaciones de Interés Privado (Law 25 of 1995). Bilingual Spanish/English required.
