Profesional Especializado — Supervisión Bancaria (Bogotá)

The Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia (SFC) seeks a specialised professional for the Banking Supervision Division in Bogotá. The role involves conducting on-site and off-site supervisory examinations of commercial banks, financial cooperatives, and microfinance institutions, assessing compliance with prudential regulation and risk management standards.

The SFC supervises over 400 financial entities and plays a critical role in maintaining financial stability. The successful candidate will evaluate banks' credit risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk management frameworks while ensuring compliance with Basel III implementation in Colombia.

• Conducting supervisory examinations of commercial banks and financial institutions
• Evaluating compliance with prudential capital adequacy, liquidity, and risk management requirements
• Preparing supervisory reports and recommendations for the Superintendente Delegado
• Analysing financial institutions' risk profiles and early warning indicators
• Contributing to regulatory policy development and circular drafting

• Título de Abogado and active Tarjeta Profesional
• 3-6 years of experience in financial regulation, banking supervision, or financial risk
• Strong knowledge of the Estatuto Orgánico del Sistema Financiero and SFC circulars
• Understanding of Basel III prudential requirements and their Colombian implementation
• Experience with financial institution examinations or regulatory compliance preferred
• Specialisation in financial law, banking regulation, or economic analysis preferred
