Real Estate and Property Lawyer — BNG Legal Myanmar

BNG Legal seeks an experienced Real Estate and Property Lawyer for our Mandalay office. You will handle complex property transactions across Upper Myanmar including land acquisitions, commercial leases, and development project structuring. The role requires deep knowledge of Myanmar's land tenure system including freehold grants, leasehold interests, and customary land rights.

You will advise on the Transfer of Immovable Property Restriction Law, Vacant Fallow and Virgin Lands Management Law 2018, and Condominium Law 2016. The position involves regular appearances before the Mandalay Region High Court on property disputes and title verification matters.

• Handle complex real estate transactions including acquisitions and commercial leases
• Conduct title searches and property due diligence
• Advise on land use rights, permitting, and zoning compliance
• Represent clients in property disputes before the Mandalay Region High Court
• Draft and negotiate development agreements and construction contracts
• Advise on Condominium Law 2016 compliance for mixed-use developments

• Qualified Advocate with minimum 5 years of real estate law experience
• Deep knowledge of Myanmar land tenure system and property laws
• Experience with the Mandalay Region land registration system
• Understanding of Condominium Law 2016 and VFVL Management Law 2018
• Litigation experience before Region High Courts
• Strong client advisory and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel within Upper Myanmar
