Regulatory and Compliance Counsel — Myanmar Brewery Limited

Myanmar Brewery Limited seeks a Regulatory and Compliance Counsel to lead legal compliance across our brewing operations. Based in Yangon with oversight of our Mandalay production facility, you will manage regulatory affairs including the Excise Act, FDA compliance, advertising regulations, and environmental permits.

This role involves establishing and maintaining the company's anti-corruption compliance program under the Anti-Corruption Law 2013, managing government relations with the Ministry of Industry and Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection, and ensuring full compliance with Myanmar's evolving consumer protection framework under the Consumer Protection Law 2019.

• Lead regulatory compliance across all brewing operations
• Manage Excise Act licensing and FDA product registration
• Implement and maintain anti-corruption compliance programs
• Handle advertising and marketing compliance reviews
• Oversee labor law compliance for thousands of employees
• Manage government relations and regulatory submissions

• Qualified Advocate or international legal qualification
• Minimum 5 years of regulatory, compliance, or in-house legal experience
• Experience in FMCG, food and beverage, or manufacturing industries
• Knowledge of Myanmar Excise Act and FDA regulations
• Understanding of anti-corruption compliance frameworks
• Experience with labor law and employment regulations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
