Trademark and Brand Protection Officer — Myanmar Brewery Limited

Myanmar Brewery Limited is hiring a Trademark and Brand Protection Officer to protect our iconic brands across Myanmar and the region. You will manage our trademark portfolio under the Myanmar Trademark Law 2019, conduct market surveillance for counterfeit products, and coordinate enforcement actions with customs and law enforcement authorities.

This role involves working with our marketing team to review new product launches for IP clearance, managing relationships with the IP Department under the Ministry of Commerce, and handling trademark opposition proceedings. You will also oversee anti-counterfeiting investigations and coordinate with regional brand protection teams.

• Manage the company's trademark portfolio including registrations and renewals
• Conduct trademark clearance searches for new product launches
• Coordinate anti-counterfeiting enforcement with customs and police
• Handle trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings
• Manage external IP counsel and investigation agencies
• Develop brand protection strategies and training programs

• LL.B. from a recognized university
• 2-4 years of intellectual property or brand protection experience
• Knowledge of Myanmar Trademark Law 2019
• Experience with trademark registration and enforcement
• Understanding of customs recordation and border enforcement
• Strong investigative and analytical skills
• Bilingual in Myanmar and English
