Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regulatory Financial Reporting Manager based in the United States.

This role is a high-impact opportunity to build and own bank regulatory reporting within a fast-growing financial services environment. You will serve as the primary expert for FFIEC Call Reports and related regulatory filings, helping establish a scalable reporting function from the ground up. The position sits at the intersection of finance, compliance, and data, requiring strong technical and regulatory fluency. You will partner closely with Accounting, Legal, Treasury, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions to regulators. This is a highly visible role supporting the expansion of banking operations within a rapidly evolving fintech organization. You will also help design the processes, controls, and automation needed to support long-term regulatory maturity. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on building robust financial infrastructure.

Accountabilities:

    • Own end-to-end preparation, validation, and submission of bank regulatory reports, including FFIEC Call Reports (031/041/051) and other OCC, FDIC, and Federal Reserve filings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
    • Build and maintain the regulatory reporting framework, including reporting calendars, data sourcing workflows, reconciliations, and internal controls to support scalable and audit-ready processes.
    • Interpret regulatory instructions and apply them to complex financial products, ensuring proper classification and reporting alignment between GAAP and regulatory standards.
    • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering to resolve data gaps, ensure consistency, and support financial reporting integrity.
    • Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates to reporting requirements, schedules, and interpretations across all relevant filings.
    • Support audits, regulatory examinations, and external reviews by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and addressing findings.
    • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of regulatory reporting operations.
    • Requirements:

      • 5+ years of experience in bank regulatory reporting with hands-on ownership of FFIEC Call Reports and related regulatory filings.
      • Strong understanding of FFIEC instructions, OCC/FDIC/Federal Reserve requirements, and regulatory capital frameworks.
      • Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to reconcile GAAP financials with regulatory reporting structures.
      • Experience building or significantly improving regulatory reporting processes, controls, and reporting infrastructure in a complex environment.
      • Proficiency with regulatory reporting tools, advanced Excel, and data management; exposure to automation or analytics tools is a plus.
      • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce audit-ready deliverables under tight deadlines.
      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical regulatory requirements into clear cross-functional guidance.
      • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or similar certification preferred.
      • Benefits:

        • Competitive base salary range: $120,000 โ€“ $145,000 annually
        • Performance-based bonus eligibility
        • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
        • 401(k) with employer match
        • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options
        • Unlimited PTO plus volunteer time and sabbatical opportunities
        • Wellness and fitness benefits, including discounted gym membership options
        • Life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance coverage
        • Remote-first work environment with flexible scheduling
