業務内容
本ポジションでは、国内外のクライアントに対し、化学物質規制に関するコンサルティングサービスを提供いただきます。
主な業務内容は以下の通りです:
コンプライアンスレビューおよび関連文書の管理
サプライヤー、輸入業者、当局などの第三者との調整業務(クライアント代理)
化学物質規制に関する専門的アドバイスの提供
また、ERMのProduct Stewardship Servicesチームのサービス拡充およびクライアント基盤の拡大に貢献することが期待されます。

日本化審法(CSCL)および安衛法をはじめ、Korea-REACH、China-REACH、Taiwan-REACH、EU-REACH、米国TSCAなどに基づく新規または既存化学物質の登録業務経験5年以上
日本語ネイティブレベル・および英語での高いコミュニケーション能力
加えて、主体的に行動できる方、適切な判断力を持ち、ステークホルダーとの関係構築および円滑な協働ができる方を歓迎します。

Job Summary
ERM is looking for a Consultant to support our Product Stewardship Services team in Japan. This role will focus on providing regulatory compliance and chemical management consulting services to domestic and multinational clients across a wide range of industries.
The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in global chemical regulations to help clients navigate complex compliance requirements, manage product stewardship obligations, and reduce regulatory risks. This is an excellent opportunity to work with leading global organizations while contributing to a more sustainable and responsible product value chain.

What Your Impact Is
In this role, you will provide consulting services related to chemical regulations and product stewardship for both domestic and international clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting compliance reviews and managing regulatory documentation
Coordinating with suppliers, importers, regulatory authorities, and other third parties on behalf of clients
Providing technical expertise and strategic advice on global chemical regulations
Supporting new and existing chemical substance registration activities across multiple jurisdictions
Identifying and mitigating regulatory risks while helping clients maintain compliance
Contributing to the expansion of ERM's Product Stewardship Services and client relationships
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across ERM's global network and help clients address some of the most complex regulatory challenges in today's marketplace.

Experience in chemistry, regulatory affairs, environmental compliance, legal compliance, or related disciplines is highly desirable.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting registration and compliance activities for new and existing chemical substances under regulations including:
Japan CSCL (Chemical Substances Control Law)
Japan ISHL (Industrial Safety and Health Law)
Korea REACH (K-REACH)
China REACH
Taiwan REACH
EU REACH
US TSCA
Native-level Japanese language proficiency
Strong business-level English communication skills
Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Toxicology, Regulatory Affairs, Law, or a related field preferred
