You will play a critical role in helping organizations maintain compliant and effective retirement programs while delivering exceptional service to clients. Working within a collaborative and technology-enabled environment, you will leverage industry expertise and specialized tools to streamline plan administration processes. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex compliance challenges, managing multiple priorities, and building trusted client relationships. It offers the chance to contribute to a growing organization that values accuracy, innovation, and professional development.

Accountabilities:

    • Manage full-cycle administration for a portfolio of 401(k), profit-sharing, and cross-tested retirement plans.
    • Perform compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy, and 401(a)(4) testing requirements.
    • Coordinate year-end plan valuations and interpret plan documents to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Process participant transactions such as loans, hardship withdrawals, distributions, and related plan activities.
    • Prepare and file required government and IRS forms, including Forms 5500, 8955, and 5330.
    • Reconcile plan assets and perform trust accounting activities to ensure data accuracy.
    • Import, manage, and validate participant and census data within administration systems.
    • Evaluate and recommend plan design enhancements to support compliance and client objectives.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance on plan administration matters with professionalism and clarity.
    • Utilize internal technology and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field.
      • 3–5+ years of retirement plan administration experience, preferably within a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) environment.
      • Strong expertise in defined contribution plan administration and compliance testing.
      • Solid understanding of ERISA regulations and retirement plan compliance requirements.
      • Experience preparing government filings and regulatory documentation.
      • Proficiency with retirement plan administration software; experience with Relius is preferred.
      • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent organizational and project management abilities with strong attention to detail.
      • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
      • Ability to work independently and successfully manage priorities in a remote work environment.
      • ASPPA credentials, or progress toward certification, are strongly preferred.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
      • Benefits:

        • Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000.
        • Fully remote work opportunity available anywhere within the United States.
        • Flexible work environment with strong work-life balance support.
        • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage.
        • Competitive paid time off programs, including flexible PTO options.
        • Professional development and career growth opportunities.
        • Inclusive, collaborative, and employee-focused workplace culture.
        • Access to incentive and bonus programs where applicable.
        • Opportunity to work with industry-leading retirement plan professionals and technology-enabled solutions.
