Job Description
DLA Piper Italy is recruiting a Senior Associate for its Employment & Labour practice at Via della Posta 7 in Milan's centro storico, near the Tribunale di Milano. You will advise multinational corporations on Italian employment law matters including restructurings, collective dismissals, and executive contracts under the Statuto dei Lavoratori and Jobs Act reforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on individual and collective dismissals under Italian labour law (Legge 604/1966, Jobs Act D.Lgs. 23/2015)
- Draft and negotiate executive service agreements, non-compete clauses, and severance packages
- Support M&A teams on employment due diligence and TUPE-equivalent transfers (Art. 2112 Codice Civile)
- Handle proceedings before the Tribunale del Lavoro and mediation under D.Lgs. 28/2010
- Advise on smart working (lavoro agile) policies and health and safety compliance (D.Lgs. 81/2008)
Requirements
- Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza
- Admitted as Avvocato; 5-8 years PQE in employment/labour law
- Experience advising multinational clients on Italian workforce restructurings
- Fluent English essential for international coordination
