Job Description

CMS Zagreb is recruiting a Senior Competition & Antitrust Counsel to advise on merger control filings, cartel investigations, abuse of dominance cases, and state aid matters under Croatian and EU competition law. You will work closely with CMS offices across Europe.

Responsibilities

Lead merger control filings with AZTN and the European Commission. Advise clients on antitrust compliance programmes and dawn raid preparedness. Represent clients in cartel and abuse of dominance proceedings. Draft state aid notifications and advise on EU subsidy regulations. Collaborate with CMS competition teams across the network.

Requirements

Law degree and Croatian Bar admission. Minimum 7 years of competition law experience. Strong knowledge of Croatian Competition Act and EU antitrust regulations. Excellent English skills; German is an asset. Prior experience with AZTN or European Commission proceedings preferred.
