Job Description
Landslog Law Offices seeks a Senior Tax Lawyer to advise on Icelandic corporate taxation, international tax planning, and tax dispute resolution. You will work with domestic and foreign businesses on structuring investments, transfer pricing, and compliance with Iceland's tax authority.
Responsibilities
Advise on corporate tax structuring, withholding tax obligations, and tax-efficient repatriation of profits. Represent clients in tax audits and disputes before the Internal Revenue Directorate and Tax Ruling Committee. Draft opinions on transfer pricing compliance and permanent establishment risk. Support M&A transactions with tax due diligence and post-deal integration.
Requirements
Cand.Jur. or LL.M. with tax law specialisation. 7+ years of experience in Icelandic and international tax law. Deep understanding of Iceland's Income Tax Act, VAT regulations, and double taxation treaties. Fluent in Icelandic and English.
