About the Internship
Alpha Bank is offering a legal internship in our Compliance and Regulatory Affairs division. This is an exceptional opportunity for law graduates interested in banking regulation, AML compliance, and financial services law. You will gain in-house experience at one of Greece's four systemic banks.
Responsibilities
- Assist the compliance team with regulatory monitoring and research
- Help prepare internal policy documents and compliance training materials
- Support AML/KYC reviews and transaction monitoring processes
- Research Greek and EU regulatory developments affecting banking operations
- Assist with preparation of responses to Bank of Greece and ECB inquiries
Requirements
- Law degree from a recognized Greek university
- Enrolled or eligible for enrollment at a Greek Dikigoritikos Syllogos
- Interest in banking regulation, compliance, and financial services law
- Good English and analytical skills
- Available for 6-12 month internship
