Legal Intern – Financial Regulation & Compliance at ING Bank
ING Bank offers a paid legal internship in the Financial Regulation & Compliance team in Amsterdam for law students interested in banking law and financial regulation.
About the Internship
You will support legal counsel on matters relating to Dutch and EU financial regulation, including the Wft, MiFID II, PSD2, and AML legislation. Tasks include legal research, drafting regulatory analysis memoranda, attending DNB and AFM meetings, and assisting with regulatory change impact assessments. This stage offers direct insight into how a major global bank manages its regulatory obligations.
Requirements
- Master student in Law with interest in financial regulation or banking law
- Available for a 4-6 month internship
- Strong academic results
- Interest in FinTech, digital banking, and regulatory innovation
- Fluent in Dutch and English
