Position Overview
Internship Description
Gleiss Lutz offers Wahlstation placements in our Employment Law practice in Stuttgart. This is an exceptional opportunity for Referendare to gain practical experience in individual and collective employment law at one of Germany's leading firms while completing their Referendariat training.
Responsibilities
- Assist with employment law matters including restructurings and works council consultations
- Research employment law questions and draft legal memoranda
- Prepare court submissions for labor court (Arbeitsgericht) proceedings
- Attend client meetings and hearings
- Support the team with employment aspects of M&A transactions
Requirements
- Erstes Staatsexamen with at least 8 points
- Currently in Referendariat, seeking Wahlstation placement
- Interest in employment law, labor relations, or restructuring
- Basic knowledge of BetrVG and KSchG
- Fluent in German; good English skills
- Duration: 3 months
Note: Referendare receive their regular state Unterhaltsbeihilfe. Gleiss Lutz provides a supplementary monthly allowance.
