Office of Fiscal Operations - Appropriation Control
Job Focus Area
At LA Department of Education, we’re looking for an Accountant 1, 2, or 3 in Fiscal Operations – Appropriation Control to serve as a travel program accountant. The Accountant is primarily responsible for preparation and reconciliation of travel expenditure transactions, fiscal reports, and payable activities ensuring compliance with OSRAP, Office of State Travel, and other control agency policies, and the state public finance law.
Candidates with the following skills and experiences are encouraged to apply:
The candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, advanced Excel proficiency, experience with LaGov (SAP), and prior knowledge of the State’s travel systems, policies, and regulations.
