Arbitration & Dispute Resolution Specialist

The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is seeking an Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Specialist to manage its commercial arbitration centre in Sanabis, Manama. You will administer arbitration and mediation proceedings for commercial disputes between businesses operating in Bahrain.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer commercial arbitration cases under the BCCI Arbitration Rules
• Coordinate arbitrator appointments and manage case timelines
• Advise parties on the Bahrain Arbitration Law (Legislative Decree No. 9 of 2015)
• Draft procedural orders and manage the logistics of hearings
• Promote alternative dispute resolution services to the Bahraini business community

• Manage a caseload of 20-30 active arbitration matters
• Organise ADR training events and workshops for BCCI members
• Maintain the BCCI panel of approved arbitrators
• Liaise with international arbitration bodies including ICC and LCIA

• LLB from a recognised university; MCIArb or FCIArb qualification preferred
• 3-6 years experience in international arbitration or commercial dispute resolution
• Bilingual in Arabic and English
• Knowledge of UNCITRAL Model Law and the New York Convention
• Experience with the BCDR-AAA or similar arbitration institutions an advantage
