Job Description
White & Case Bratislava is hiring an Associate for its Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice. Based in our Bratislava office, you will represent clients in proceedings before the Okresný súd Bratislava (District Court), Krajský súd (Regional Court), and the Najvyšší súd SR (Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic), as well as international arbitration tribunals.
White & Case handles high-value commercial disputes and investor-state arbitrations involving Slovak assets. This role offers exposure to complex cross-border litigation and arbitration under ICC, VIAC, and UNCITRAL rules, with opportunities to collaborate with the firm's global disputes network.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in commercial litigation before Slovak courts at all levels. Manage international arbitration proceedings under ICC, VIAC, and UNCITRAL rules. Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, and appellate submissions. Develop case strategy for high-value commercial disputes. Conduct legal research on Slovak procedural and substantive law. Coordinate with White & Case offices globally on multi-jurisdictional disputes.
Requirements
SAK-registered Advokát with 3-5 years of litigation or arbitration experience. Knowledge of the Civilný sporový poriadok (Civil Disputes Code) and Slovak procedural law. Experience with international commercial arbitration preferred. Fluent Slovak and English required; German or French a plus.
