Job Description

LEX Law Offices is hiring a Corporate & M&A Lawyer to handle domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings. You will advise Icelandic and Nordic companies on shareholder agreements, joint ventures, and regulatory approvals in a dynamic transactional practice.

Responsibilities

Lead due diligence processes for acquisitions and mergers. Draft share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and corporate resolutions. Advise on competition clearance filings with Samkeppniseftirlitid. Manage post-closing integration and compliance matters.

Requirements

Cand.Jur. or LL.M. degree with admission to the Icelandic bar. 4-7 years of experience in corporate and M&A transactions. Knowledge of Icelandic Companies Act and EEA competition clearance procedures. Bilingual in Icelandic and English.
