Job Description

LEX Law Offices is looking for a Junior Employment Lawyer to support the firm's growing labour and employment practice. You will advise employers and employees on Icelandic labour law, collective bargaining agreements, and workplace disputes.

Responsibilities

Research and advise on employment contracts, termination procedures, and workplace policies. Assist with collective bargaining negotiations and union relations. Draft legal opinions on discrimination, harassment, and whistleblower protections. Support litigation in the Labour Court and District Courts.

Requirements

Cand.Jur. or LL.B. degree. 1-3 years of experience in employment or labour law. Familiarity with Icelandic trade union structures and collective agreements. Icelandic fluency required; English proficiency expected.
