Commercial Contracts Manager — Smart Axiata Co., Ltd., Phnom Penh

Smart Axiata is looking for a Commercial Contracts Manager to manage the legal aspects of the company's commercial relationships with vendors, partners, and distributors. Based in Phnom Penh, you will draft, negotiate, and manage a high volume of commercial agreements supporting Smart's operations as Cambodia's leading mobile operator.

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor agreements, distribution contracts, and marketing partnerships
• Manage the company's contract lifecycle from initiation through execution and renewal
• Advise business teams on contract risk, liability provisions, and indemnification clauses
• Develop standard contract templates and playbooks for recurring commercial arrangements
• Handle contract disputes and coordinate with external counsel on litigation matters
• Ensure all contracts comply with Cambodian law and Axiata Group procurement policies

• 4-7 years' PQE in commercial law, contract management, or technology transactions
• Degree in Law; BAKC membership preferred
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology agreements, vendor contracts, and service level agreements
• Knowledge of the Civil Code (2007) contract provisions and the Law on Commercial Enterprises
• Understanding of telecommunications industry commercial practices
• Fluent Khmer and English; strong negotiation skills
