Commercial Litigation Advocate — Al Suwaidi & Company
Al Suwaidi & Company, a leading Sharjah-based law firm, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Advocate to handle cases before Sharjah Courts, the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre (Tahkeem), and the Federal Supreme Court. This is an excellent opportunity to build a practice in the Northern Emirates.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in commercial disputes before Sharjah Courts of First Instance, Appeal, and Cassation
- Handle cases involving commercial agency agreements, cheque dishonour, and debt recovery
- Advise on Sharjah Economic Development Department regulations for commercial activities
- Manage disputes related to Hamriyah Free Zone and Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone) entities
- Draft legal notices, statements of claim, and appeals in Arabic
- Advise SME clients on commercial law compliance and dispute avoidance strategies

Requirements
- 3-6 years of litigation experience in the UAE, with Northern Emirates court experience preferred
- UAE Bar membership with rights of audience before Sharjah Courts — mandatory
- Native Arabic speaker with strong legal Arabic drafting skills
- Knowledge of UAE Commercial Transactions Law and Civil Code
- Experience with cheque bounce cases and commercial agency disputes
- English language proficiency for international client communication
