Job Description
Join Morgan & Morgan's Corporate and Banking team to advise leading international banks on Panamanian regulatory compliance, structured finance, and cross-border lending. You will work closely with the Superintendencia de Bancos de Panamá (SBP) framework and the Ley Bancaria to ensure clients meet local and international standards.
Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security packages, and intercreditor arrangements. Advise on SBP licensing and compliance matters. Coordinate due diligence for cross-border lending transactions. Support syndicated loan closings and bond issuances. Prepare regulatory opinions for foreign lenders.
Requirements
Licenciatura en Derecho and active membership in the Colegio Nacional de Abogados de Panamá. 3-5 years of experience in banking law, structured finance, or capital markets. Strong understanding of the Ley Bancaria and SBP regulations. Bilingual Spanish/English.
