This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Corporate Counsel based in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic legal guidance within a fast-growing technology environment.
You will support business teams by navigating complex SaaS agreements, AI-related matters, privacy, and security considerations.
The position combines commercial legal expertise with practical problem-solving to help accelerate innovation.
You will collaborate closely with sales, product, engineering, professional services, and leadership teams.

Accountabilities:
- Negotiate complex global customer, partner, reseller, vendor, and technology agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, and professional services contracts.
- Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders across sales, product, engineering, marketing, support, talent, and business operations teams.
- Support commercial and strategic initiatives by reviewing legal requirements, updating contract templates, and developing policies and processes.
- Advise on emerging areas including artificial intelligence, data privacy, cybersecurity, and technology-related business risks.
- Drive effective adoption of AI-powered tools and innovative solutions to improve legal team efficiency and organizational impact.
- Support risk management activities, including assessments, remediation plans, security-related matters, and business continuity initiatives.
- Assist with litigation, dispute resolution, and other legal matters as needed.
- Conduct legal research and provide subject matter expertise on relevant business and regulatory topics.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to the development of legal best practices across the organization.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission in good standing to a U.S. state bar required.
- 5+ years of experience negotiating complex SaaS agreements, software licensing agreements, professional services agreements, or technology transactions; 6+ years preferred.
- Strong understanding of legal issues affecting technology companies, including software, privacy, security, and commercial operations.
- Ability to analyze complex legal matters and provide practical recommendations aligned with business goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools and AI-enabled productivity solutions.
- Demonstrated adaptability, initiative, problem-solving ability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Competitive base salary range of approximately $160,000–$180,000 annually, with estimated total on-target earnings of $180,000–$200,000 including bonus opportunities.
