Job Description

Marel, a global leader in food processing technology, is hiring a Senior In-House Legal Counsel to support its international commercial operations from its headquarters in Garðabær. You will advise on cross-border contracts, supply chain agreements, and regulatory compliance across Marel's global operations spanning 30+ countries.

Responsibilities

Draft and negotiate international supply, distribution, and manufacturing agreements. Advise on commercial disputes, warranty claims, and product liability risk. Support M&A integration of acquired businesses and subsidiaries. Manage external counsel relationships across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements

Cand.Jur. or LL.M. degree. 7+ years of experience in international commercial law, supply chain contracts, or corporate transactions. Experience in a multinational corporate legal department preferred. Fluent in English; Icelandic proficiency is an advantage.
