Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a聽Legal Contract Management Senior Professional based in the United States.

This senior-level role plays a key part in shaping and governing contract strategy across large-scale, high-impact energy and infrastructure projects. You will operate at the intersection of legal, commercial, and project execution, ensuring contracts are structured to support business objectives while effectively managing risk. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Legal, Sales, Engineering, and Project Management, as well as international stakeholders. You will contribute to complex negotiations, influence key commercial decisions, and ensure alignment across tendering and execution phases. With exposure to sectors such as EPC, power generation, and data center projects, this position offers a dynamic and technically diverse environment. Your expertise will directly impact project success, compliance, and overall operational performance across the North America region.

Accountabilities:

    • Develop, implement, and continuously refine contract strategies aligned with project and business objectives across complex energy and infrastructure programs.
    • Review, draft support, and negotiate commercial, legal, and technical contract terms during tendering and execution phases.
    • Identify contractual risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies to protect business interests and improve project outcomes.
    • Analyze contract baselines, including scope, schedule, pricing structures, and technical specifications to ensure clarity and enforceability.
    • Partner closely with Legal and cross-functional teams to support contract drafting, finalization, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
    • Provide expert contractual guidance to project managers and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
    • Monitor contract performance, lead claims avoidance efforts, and drive lessons learned and project closeout reviews.
    • Deliver training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen contract management capability across the organization.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification.
      • 7+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or commercial contract governance.
      • Proven experience with EPC, data center, or power generation contracts in complex infrastructure environments.
      • Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation principles, and risk management frameworks.
      • Experience working in international, matrixed, and cross-functional environments.
      • Highly structured and detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and organizational skills.
      • Ability to influence stakeholders and contribute confidently in commercial and legal discussions.
      • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex contractual terms into clear business guidance.
