Job Description
Debswana Diamond Company seeks a Legal Counsel to manage commercial contracts, joint venture agreements and regulatory compliance for its world-class diamond mining operations across Botswana.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate mining agreements, contractor contracts and service agreements
- Advise on the Mines and Minerals Act and environmental regulations
- Support JV governance and shareholder communications
- Handle arbitration and dispute resolution proceedings
Requirements
- LLB and admitted to practice in Botswana
- 3–5 years experience in mining, resources or commercial law
- Ability to manage complex multi-party agreements
