Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Regulatory Compliance based in United States.

This role is responsible for leading a specialized regulatory compliance team focused on healthcare pricing transparency and reference data within a complex, evolving regulatory landscape.
You will oversee the interpretation and operationalization of federal and state healthcare regulations impacting commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid products.
The position combines people leadership with deep regulatory expertise, ensuring accurate and timely regulatory outputs that support critical product releases.
You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable technical and operational guidance.
The role is highly cross-functional, requiring strong coordination across teams, releases, and compliance-driven workflows.
You will be accountable for both team performance and the integrity of regulatory deliverables powering healthcare transparency solutions.
This is a leadership role where your impact directly influences regulatory accuracy, product compliance, and customer trust.

Accountabilities:

    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of regulatory compliance professionals focused on claims pricing, reference data, and healthcare transparency requirements.
    • Oversee workload distribution, prioritization, and delivery to ensure alignment with regulatory timelines and product release schedules.
    • Interpret and operationalize federal and state regulatory requirements, translating them into clear guidance and actionable outputs for the team.
    • Ensure accuracy and quality of regulatory deliverables, including system requirement specifications and client-facing documentation.
    • Serve as escalation point for complex regulatory issues and guide resolution across pricing, editing, and reference data challenges.
    • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams to embed regulatory requirements into roadmap and sprint planning.
    • Manage performance, career development, and onboarding for team members in a high-complexity compliance environment.
    • Oversee regulatory monitoring and analysis across commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid lines of business.
    • Represent regulatory compliance function in cross-functional discussions and client-facing engagements when required.
    • Drive continuous improvement in processes, team capability, and delivery quality across regulatory operations.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • 8+ years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance, managed care, healthcare operations, or related field.
      • 5+ years of progressive people leadership experience managing technical or compliance-focused teams.
      • Strong knowledge of claims pricing, editing, and reference data concepts.
      • Familiarity with Transparency in Coverage requirements, including MRF standards and pricing disclosure regulations.
      • Ability to translate complex regulatory frameworks into clear, actionable operational guidance.
      • Strong leadership skills including coaching, performance management, and team development.
      • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and regulatory deadlines.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to simplify complex regulatory topics for diverse audiences.
      • Experience in healthcare technology, SaaS platforms, or mana.ged care environments is a plus.
      • Familiarity with CMS regulations, HIPAA, HL7 FHIR, or interoperability standards is highly desirable.
      • Benefits:
