Partner Track – Maritime & Transport Law at Stibbe
Stibbe is looking for an ambitious Senior Associate on a partnership track to join our Maritime & Transport Law practice in Rotterdam, Europe leading port city.
About the Role
You will advise shipowners, charterers, port authorities, and logistics companies on maritime disputes, charter party claims, bills of lading, marine insurance, collision cases, and environmental liability at sea. Rotterdam, home to Europe largest port, provides exceptional exposure to international maritime law.
Requirements
- Meester in de rechten or LL.M. in maritime or transport law
- Admitted to the Orde van Advocaten
- 7-10 years of experience in maritime, transport, or international trade law
- Experience with Rotterdam Rules and Hague-Visby Rules
- Arbitration experience (LMAA, SMA, or TAMARA)
- Fluent in Dutch and English; German is valued
