Job Description

Manzanillo International Terminal (MIT), the largest container port on the Atlantic side of the Panama Canal, seeks a Legal Manager to oversee port concession compliance, logistics contracts, and labor relations. Located in Colón, this role is central to the supply chain connecting the Canal to global trade routes.

Responsibilities

Manage the legal department and outside counsel relationships. Ensure compliance with the port concession agreement and AMP regulations. Draft and negotiate terminal services, stevedoring, and logistics contracts. Handle labor relations and collective bargaining for port workers. Advise on environmental compliance and port security regulations.

Requirements

Licenciatura en Derecho. 6+ years of experience in port operations, logistics, or maritime law. Knowledge of the Autoridad Marítima de Panamá regulations and port concession frameworks. Experience managing a legal team. Bilingual Spanish/English.
