Job Description
Soemadipradja & Taher (S&T) is hiring a Senior Associate for its renowned Dispute Resolution practice at the Wisma GKBI office on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta. S&T regularly appears before the Mahkamah Agung (Supreme Court) and international arbitration tribunals including SIAC and ICC.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in complex commercial litigation before Pengadilan Negeri and Pengadilan Tinggi (High Court)
- Manage international arbitration proceedings under SIAC, ICC, and BANI rules
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, and legal memoranda under KUHP and KUHPerdata
- Advise on enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Indonesia
- Develop case strategy and manage junior advokats and paralegals
Requirements
- LLB from a recognised Indonesian university; LLM in dispute resolution preferred
- Admitted as Advokat by PERADI
- 6-9 years experience in litigation and international arbitration
- Track record of appearances before Mahkamah Agung
- Excellent English advocacy and legal writing skills
