Senior Associate – Finance & Projects
Latham & Watkins Singapore is seeking a Senior Associate for its Finance & Projects practice. Our QFLP-licensed office advises on complex project financings, infrastructure deals, and leveraged finance transactions across Southeast Asia, leveraging Latham's global platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise lenders and sponsors on project finance transactions for infrastructure, energy, and transportation projects in Southeast Asia
- Draft and negotiate project finance documentation including facility agreements, security packages, and direct agreements
- Advise on leveraged and acquisition finance transactions supporting PE buyouts in the region
- Structure and document green bonds, sustainability-linked loans, and ESG-compliant financing
- Collaborate with Latham offices globally on multi-tranche, multi-jurisdictional financings
Requirements
- Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, or qualified in England & Wales or another common law jurisdiction
- 6–10 years of post-qualification experience in project finance, banking, or leveraged finance
- Experience with infrastructure and energy projects in Southeast Asia
- Strong knowledge of LMA documentation standards and syndicated lending structures
- Excellent commercial judgment and deal management skills
