This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vendor Risk Management Compliance Analyst based in the United States.

This role sits within a core compliance function focused on strengthening third-party risk governance across the full vendor lifecycle. You will play a key part in ensuring that vendor relationships are properly assessed, approved, and continuously monitored in line with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and financial services best practices. The position offers exposure to a wide range of stakeholders, including compliance, procurement, risk, and business teams, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to grow in risk management and regulatory compliance. You will support due diligence, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring activities that directly protect operational integrity and regulatory standing. This is a highly detail-oriented and collaborative role in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and structured thinking are essential.

Accountabilities:

    • Review and validate incoming Vendor Service Requests to ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper risk classification for committee review and approval.
    • Support end-to-end vendor due diligence processes, including onboarding assessments, ongoing monitoring, and periodic risk reviews.
    • Conduct or assist in vendor risk assessments and ensure appropriate documentation and approval workflows are followed.
    • Monitor request queues, resolve delays, and provide status updates to internal stakeholders and business partners.
    • Review OFAC, sanctions, and negative news screening alerts, ensuring timely escalation and appropriate disposition.
    • Assist in preparing materials for vendor risk governance meetings and support reporting for compliance committees.
    • Contribute to enhancements of vendor risk management systems, including testing, documentation updates, and stakeholder training.
    • Support internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, and policy/procedure updates related to third-party risk.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Compliance, or a related field.
      • 2+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, audit, or financial services operations.
      • Strong understanding of third-party risk, vendor management, or regulatory compliance frameworks is highly preferred.
      • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across business and compliance teams.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with GRC or vendor risk platforms is a plus.
      • Highly organized self-starter with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
      • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environments.
      • Benefits:

        • Annual base salary range: $55,000 – $65,000 USD depending on location and experience, plus eligibility for annual bonus
        • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage
        • Retirement savings plan with employer contributions and long-term financial support programs
        • Paid time off and holidays to support work-life balance
        • Professional development opportunities in compliance, risk, and financial services
        • Exposure to enterprise-level vendor risk and regulatory governance programs
        • Inclusive, collaborative work environment focused on learning and career growth
        • Additional wellness, insurance, and employee support programs.
