Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics - Global Marketplace and Ecommerce Regulatory, leads the development and execution of compliance strategies within their area, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. This role involves analyzing regulatory trends, managing risk assessments, implementing controls, and communicating back to leadership. The position requires directing policy updates, overseeing compliance monitoring, and fostering continuous improvement. This role will help enable our Marketplace to scale by developing a program to enable products to be fulfilled to customers with speed.

About the team...
Our team develops and enforces item policies governing product eligibility and fulfillment for Marketplace Sellers on Walmart.com. Collaborating with legal and subject matter experts, we design compliance programs, policies, and controls, implementing them at scale through AI, machine learning, and keyword algorithms. We continuously monitor policy effectiveness and deliver actionable insights to business and technology partners to enhance control precision. This team plays a vital role in ensuring compliance and operational excellence by integrating advanced technologies with strategic policy management, supporting Walmart’s commitment to responsible and efficient marketplace operations.

What you'll do...

  • Lead compliance and ethics initiatives by monitoring laws, regulations, and policies within the specialty area.
  • Develop, update, and communicate policies and standard operating procedures with leadership input.
  • Analyze compliance data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Manage legislative assessment strategies, forecasting regulatory trends and conducting gap analyses.
  • Oversee impact assessments of proposed policies and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs, removing obstacles, and measuring progress.
  • Supervise and develop associates through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Promote adherence to company ethics, policies, and integrity standards across teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 2 years’ supervisory experience. 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
