Abu Dhabi Judicial Department

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) is the government entity responsible for administering the judicial system in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Headquartered on Al Salam Street in Abu Dhabi, ADJD oversees all courts of first instance, appeals courts, and the Court of Cassation within the emirate. The department employs judges, prosecutors, legal researchers, notaries public, and administrative staff. ADJD manages civil, criminal, personal status, commercial, and labour courts across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and the Western Region. The department is actively modernizing through digital transformation initiatives and expanding its legal translation and interpretation services.
