Attorney General's Chambers Malaysia

The Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) of Malaysia, known locally as Jabatan Peguam Negara, is the principal legal adviser to the Government of Malaysia. Located in Putrajaya, the federal administrative capital, the AGC provides legal advice to the Malaysian government, drafts legislation, and represents the government in civil and criminal proceedings before all levels of the Malaysian courts including the Federal Court. The AGC is divided into several divisions including the Advisory Division, Drafting Division, Civil Division, and the Prosecution Division under the Public Prosecutor's Office.
