Corporación Multi Inversiones (CMI) is Guatemala's largest conglomerate and one of the most powerful business groups in Latin America, founded as a family business by Juan Bautista Gutiérrez in the 1920s and now employing over 54,000 people across 15 countries on two continents. Headquartered at 5a Avenida 15-45 in Zona 10, Guatemala City, CMI operates through two major divisions: CMI Foods (including the globally recognized Pollo Campero restaurant chain, flour mills, pasta production, poultry and pork processing, and animal feed) and CMI Capital (energy generation, real estate development, and financial services). Currently led by joint Presidents-Chairmen Juan Luis Bosch Gutiérrez and Juan José Gutiérrez Mayorga, the conglomerate's legal department handles multi-jurisdictional corporate governance, M&A transactions, agricultural and food regulatory compliance, energy concessions, real estate development law, and international trade across the Americas.
